The lack of updates here indicates my state of mind -- dead. It's been a crazy past month at work as I catch up on past cases, deal with new staff onboard, and of course, face off crazy clients. I forgot how much less of a life one has working at an agency. I have had to cancel plans with friends or arrive super-late like 3 hours after for times when they are patient enough to wait for me.
This weekend, I'm going to just stay in and relax and not think so much about work. And fantasize about going on a short holiday. Yes, I was actually tired of holidays after 1 month away in June/July but this past crazy month has stirred a desire for me to run away to a different place for just a while.

This is no simple cup of milk. It's carefully measured 1-part ice, 1-part milk (my fav Meiji low fat!) and 1-part Baileys Caramel. Together, they form a yummilicious cup of pre-bedtime milk. I so deserve this after having to work through the weekend, and it's only my second weekend at the new job.
