This post is super late but at least it's up here now. Wanted to write about it long ago but was so swamped at work that I could barely breathe.

This is the super major event that even a sports dummy like me hung on the phone for hours to get tickets to -- the tennis showdown match between Pete Sampras and Roger Federer.

It was quite a relaxed and funny match, since it's an exhibition one. Some exciting bits too. But most times, Pris and I were trying to figure out what was happening with the board scores and game play. Yes, as with the Macau Grand Prix, I had no idea what was happening half the time.

At the end of match, some guy took the chance to propose to his girlfriend who, of course, just has to say "yes". The emcee took the opportunity to sell the Venetian as wedding venue and got boo-ed by the audience.

Award ceremony. The last of the 3 matches and the only "one for the old guy" in Pete Sampras' words.

Haha, gather u r a fan of Federer?

Quite fun. Lots of acts coming into Macau but the dearth of cabs is not fun. Pris and I walked all the way home (ok, shopped and had dinner along the way) from the Venetian!
